Today I ran on the treadmill: a little over a mile, but quickly.   I also completed biceps curls and chest presses along with abs and triceps dips with the captain’s chair.

Ran 6.8 miles in 60 minutes on the treadmill in my Vibrams.   Lots of blisters, somehow the treadmill and Vibrams aren’t playing well together.

1 26 11 - Losing Control
I was in a car accident on the way to work.   The exit ramp was horribly icy.  My car spun out of control.  I could do nothing to change the car’s direction or speed.   I hit the guardrail, bounced off and turned 180 degrees across two lanes of traffic to hit the concrete barrier on the other side of the ramp.    A flatbed commercial truck nearly hit me, but was able to stop in time.  ...

Am I sick or . . .
Thursday was a super-long day for me.   Most of the day, I was driving in the ice/snow from Atlanta to Louisville.    Then, I lost my credit card somewhere at the airport (returning my rental car) and could not pay to get out of the parking lot.   Stress level was in the red for hours and hours. Suggestions for Awesome Places to Run? Decline push-ups
I lost count of my sets, so I either did a total of 85 or 100. I then did an extra 15 just to make sure. I will be glad to be back home with access to our gym and group fitness classes. Being stuck in a hotel provides excuses for laziness.

I haven’t ran or worked out since Tuesday.  The plan was P90x Arms on Wednesday and a 3-mile run on Thursday.    Instead, Wednesday I went to the coffee shop with Andrea while she studied.   Thursday I did not run but I did run some errands and got some great cold-weather running gear from Target.  I will try them out tomorrow when we do a practice run on the course of the 15-mile trail.

Snacking
Snacking on a big bowl of bing cherries and black seedless grapes with a glass of local, non-homogenized 2% milk.   I am looking forward to eating a bison burger topped with a fried egg (from a farm-raised chicken that eats bugs instead of corn) with a side of kale. Not every meal is like this, often it is ExtraCrunchy JIF with banana slices on wheat bread.

Accidently showed up to the Two-Hour Group Cycle class thirty minutes early, so today I ended up spinning for 2.5 hrs. The bicycle seat was uncomfortable, or maybe I need to wear those padded bike-shorts that everyone else had on.

Happy New Year.   Andrea and I went to the 9:15am CardioCombo class and stayed for BodyPump.    Qdoba followed as a reward. Tomorrow afternoon we are planning on showing up for the new, 2-hr cycling class. Working some deals this afternoon and will post more info when everything is finalized!
